What is the process
3D Digital Planning
After taking 3D scans of your face, jaw and soft tissues, the surgery is planned to precision, every implant placement, the angle, depth, the position and torque applied is noted. The teeth are individually crafted, positioned and made to look realistic and natural.

Implant placement
The implants are placed into the jaw as per the 3D digital plan, this is usually carried out under sedation.
Fitting new teeth & adjustments
Your newly hand-crafted teeth are fitted to the implants, final tweaks and adjustments are made to them to ensure that they fit perfectly and function as a set of natural teeth. We test how the teeth move and bite together repeatedly until its perfect.

New confidence, life & food choices
You walk out of the clinic taking your true personality and new found confidence with you. Many of our patients comment on how this treatment has transformed their happiness and outlook on life.

Is Same Day Teeth Right For Me?
Same Day Teeth may be right for you if:
  • You wear old and worn partial dentures, retained by a mixture of decayed teeth, and have gum disease
  • All of your teeth are loose and you fear the worst
  • You have lost all of your back teeth and your front teeth are loose and are beginning to look unsightly
  • You would not even consider full dentures because you feel there is a stigma attached to them, and your lifestyle and career needs require implanted fixed teeth
  • You have suffered lifelong problems with dentures, you cannot choose the foods you like and feel there must be a better way
  • You have not seen a dentist in many years and have a dental phobia; you feel it’s gone too far to save your teeth and are looking for a long term solution
  • The look of your smile and natural teeth depresses you and it affects your confidence and quality of life; you are afraid to smile and you don’t feel like the person you used to be

Meet the team
Catherine Hickey  | Dental Implant concierge
Cathy is one of our success stories; she came to work for the practice straight from school in 1979. She showed skill and aptitude and went on to become our head dental nurse. Cathy then took a break from dental nursing to get married and have 2 children and rejoined the practice in 2000. She is fully qualified as a dental nurse and also has specialised nursing qualifications in dental implantology and dental radiography, enabling her to assist Dr Nick Fahey in complex dental rehabilitation cases and to use our high-tech scanner to take accurate scans and x-rays of our patients’ teeth and mouths. She is the most senior and experienced nurse on our team and the perfect role model for our younger nurses.
In 2011 she took on the role of Clinical Manager and is responsible for the whole nursing team, as well as undertaking the important role of Treatment Coordinator (TCO) looking after all our patients, new and existing. If you have any queries about your dental treatment or are thinking of joining us as a new patient, do not hesitate to contact us and book a consultation with Cathy. This is a complimentary service and can be done face-to-face over a cup of coffee here in our private Patient Lounge or over the phone if you prefer.
